This Committee groups companies interested in analyzing the situation of mutual recognition of sanitary registrations for food and veterinary products, medicines, cosmetics, and pesticides. Presently and within the customs union, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua recognize the sanitary registration obtained in some of these countries only for products of origin. This group works to obtain the same benefit for products imported from any country, other than the above, and obtain mutual recognition of sanitary registrations for non-origin products.
